The Ephemeral Icon @Buitenplaats Beeckestijn

March 9th – June 1st, 2014

The Ephemeral Icon is going to be on show at Buitenplaats Beeckestijn, an old top Dutch Housing Estate and one of the few completely preserved large country houses in Velsen -Zuid (near IJmuiden), with a French formal garden and English landscape garden (48 acres).

The project will be presented  along with other contemporary design chairs, such as the Knotted chair by Marcel Wanders, the Smoke Chair by Maarten Baas, the Endless chair by Dirk van der Kooij, the Extension Chair by Sjoerd Vroonland, theRags Chair by Theo Remy, the Kokon chair by Jurgen Bey, the Paper Chair by Jeroen Wand, the Chair Wear of Bernotat & Co., the Ghost Chair of Drift,  the long legged chairs by Umberto Dattola, and more… and a collection of 18th century classic chairs (Louis XV, Louis XVI, etc.)
